The shop itself is easy to access and very attractive inside. The large windows and different styles of seating (bar seating, group tables, couches, small tables) is very enjoyable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the menu is straight forward and fairly priced. I loved the art on the top of my friends vanilla latte, and my mocha was to die for! It's like they used Mexican chocolate, the flavor was very unique and I enjoyed every drop. I will be back!

I was told they had good Chai Tea besides great coffee so I went to check it out. The cashier was great. Asked if I wanted sweet or spicy. I froze, I never get asked that anywhere else. I started to think, I can't decide! He smiled she said, you want both? Heck yeah! Served at the perfect temperature! You can drink immediately? It was great! Definitely go here!

Great drinks with a great atmosphere. I loved the art (for sale) on the walls and the multiple small tables and places for people to gather or sip solo.

Black Cup Coffee was a cozy coffee shop. The vibe of the cafe was nice and warm. The employees were great with awesome customer service. The coffee it’s self was delicious, perfectly roasted. The best way to describe it is, a taste of heaven. Highly recommend this coffee shop to everyone!

I ordered a Cortado but the drink’s size was more like a latte hahaha. But it does not matter because the latte tastes amazing with an extremely smooth texture of milk. Pastry is mediocre.

Black Cup Café is one of those hidden gems in Anchorage that you might drive past without giving it a second thought—but once you step inside, you realize what you’ve been missing. After living here for five years, I finally gave it a try, and I was pleasantly surprised. The café itself has a cozy, inviting atmosphere that sets it apart from other coffee shops in town. It’s filled with plants, unique merchandise, and an overall aesthetic that makes you feel at home. The drinks were solid—I had a mocha and an iced coffee, both of which were good, though not necessarily groundbreaking. However, the real highlight for me was the atmosphere, which is easily one of the best in Anchorage. Their pastries were also fantastic, adding to the overall experience. If you’re looking for a place to relax, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a quiet moment, Black Cup Café is definitely worth a visit.

This is a great and quite big coffee place. The coffee and their food is amazing. Nice environment to be with friend or casual study. Their food selection is limited but I guess that's also good. They also have some art displayed. Must recommend!!

Delicious boutique coffee shop with excellent pour overs. The pastries are also delicious, and staff are very helpful. I'd definitely recommend the coffee.

I've been coming here for years. My February visit was just as I've come to expect, good food and drinks. Clean facility. Friendly staff. The tables are spaced out decent. Seating can be a challenge. We got the last available table.

After sipping my Steam Dot latte, I immediately went here to try their latte because I was disappointed. Glad I went because it was richer, tastier, and stronger than Steam Dot's. I came back twice and also bought beans, which came with a free 12-oz brew that day.
